So, this is actually a hybrid mix of awesome and I hope you enjoy my take on this delicious Korean food. It has been a huge honor living in this country and I have been so lucky to have already fallen in love with the culture and the food in 2010. It makes cooking the food a true joy. Not a fan of Korean Glass Noodles (Chapchae)? Just opt out of them and enjoy it either way.
So, this week I was on search of a good cream of chicken soup recipe. Since I'm running low on funds, I'll be happy to report that this is a very cost effective recipe, provided of course you're already blessed enough to already have the ingredients in stock.
Nowadays, if you need soup in a recipe you grab a can of popular name brand soups. But, as so many of us push for a simpler time, we've realized that the cost to this convenience is often more often then not our health and the health of our families.
So, this week has been really challenging both since I am watching what I eat and because I failed to write down my menu plan for this month (dealing with the latter this week so it doesn't happen again.)
So, this week we had a lot of things going on. We had guests and costumes to finish making for our end of summer bash. So, tonight I made pork chops in the crock pot. We have the biggest one we could find at the store; a seven quart, I think. Here's our yummy recipe!
