Sorry, I haven't been blogging. Things here at the house got really busy over the holidays. I just wanted to check in with you guys and let you know that I am "still alive." Yes, I know I say it all the time but, I can't not mean it unless I'm dead. December sure felt like I wasn't working out at all but, I'm back and enjoying my new weight loss! So far, I've lost a total of 14 lbs and I'm loving it! My non-stretch jeans fit finally and I'm getting up earlier and enjoying way more energy than I've had in a while. Here in the north of the south, it gets really cold this time of year, so I really slowed down in December. Plus, I'm one of those where, unless I'm at a gym, I don't like working out in front of people and we had guests. (I'm working on that one.) My husband gave me a solution. He purchased a stationary bike for me! Since I had already lost the weight that would have made me unable to use it (there's a weight max) I could use it to my hearts content! I'm so proud of my accomplishments and I know that with God all things are possible and I've really been using the bike a lot.
I tried a new brand of salmon at the store and I have to say I liked it a lot. Then, I tried a fish called Barramundi! This is my ultimate go to Tilapia replacement! See, I like being healthy and I like being cancer free. When I found out that the radiation from that Fukushima plant disaster in Japan is STILL LEAKING into our ocean I was like... dang, can't eat anything from that ocean ever again. But, apparently, Barramundi might not be affected by drama. Either way, my favorite thing is to throw that in the convection oven, bake it and enjoy it next to an organic salad with organic french dressing!
I joined up with fellow Youtubers and all around fantastic couple "ShayCarl" and "Katilette" to play a game over at Dietbet.com. We've all pledged to lose 4% of our body weight in a month or lose our $30! The "winners" are anyone who met their goal! If you meet your goal, you get to split the pot with all the other "winners." I am proud to say I just met my weekly goal and look forward to hitting next weeks goal! Woohoo!! You can find a link to his vlog (Shaytards) on our channel.
Today's morning mojo video comes to us from a band called "Tuba Skinny" (how befitting since I used to play the tuba and when I did... I was skinny lol)
Here's to your journey, whatever it may be!
